Since 1991, God has positioned our multi-denominational Christian ministry to assist Christians across the country to start, sustain and grow Released Time Bible Education (RTBE) programs.

Through our resources, events, and consultation, we equip, educate and encourage members (and future members). We also are committed to helping parents understand benefits; churches, opportunities; and schools, legalities.

School Ministries believes America's Children Need...

  • A Bible teacher who loves the Lord and fosters a warm, safe, and nurturing environment for their personal growth.
  • A safe venue where students can ask deep, challenging, and sensitive questions without fear or censure.
  • Bible classes that prepare them to be responsible adults, good family members, and contributing community citizens.
  • The opportunity to pray and be prayed for so they can receive the love of God they so desperately need.

As a result the vision of School Ministries is to invite every student K - 12 to join Released Time Bible Education or After School Bible Education Program and receive HOPE. (Released Time Bible Education is a time when students are constitutionally released during the public school day to go off campus for religious Bible Education with parental permission.)

  • Mission statement

Bringing Hope to Youth through Released Time Bible Education. School Ministries is a nationwide educating and equipping organization promoting Released Time Bible Education. School Ministries starts new released time programs by inspiring community leaders, school administrators, nonprofit executives, pastors, parents, and children to provide public school student's the opportunity to receive off-campus Bible education during the school day.

    Program accomplishments

Notable Milestones: God has used School Ministries to....

Serve a growing number of students through the School Ministries' Member Programs. On average 15% more students are being served each year since its inception in 1991.

Reach 40,000 new students each year since the 2015-2016 school year, with an average of a quarter of the students making first-time decisions for Jesus Christ.

Grow our volunteer and staff base to over 4,000 people.

Increase operations from two states to operations in 11 states, including four full-time state offices within the last decade.

Consult with several states to pass Released Time for high school credit laws. So far, six states allow for Released Time academic credit.

There is a pressing need to expand Released Time Bible Education. We are losing generations of children from families who do not attend church, and Released Time classes are their best chance for being saved and brought into church membership for growing in their newfound faith. The Barna Research Group documents that two out of three born-again Christians accept Jesus as their Savior before their 18th birthday. If children's hearts are not reached now, they may never be.
