We believe each person was created by God, needs God and through God can live a vibrant, healthy and wholesome life that is a blessing to themselves and a positive spiritual influence on others. We consider electronic communications to be a strategic tool for communicating these truths.

Total Living Network is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Contributions are fully deductible to the extent allowed by law. It is a charter member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Mission statement

Total Living Network's Mission Statement is:

To direct people to Christ and to provide tools for a vibrant relationship with Him through the electronic communications media.

Statement of faith

We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired by God and inherent in the original writings and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man.

We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned in the fall and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. And that, as a result, all human beings are born with a sinful nature and upon reaching the age of moral responsibility are held accountable to God as sinners in thought, word and deed.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood.

We believe in "that blessed hope", the personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We believe that all that receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust: the just to everlasting life in heaven, and the unjust to an eternity in hell.

History

"The idea was born in a prayer one morning." stated Rev. Owen Carr. This prayer lead to a 24- hour Christian television for Chicagoland, WCFC-TV38. The first transmission was truly a historical event. There are those who were surprised that all this took place in a rented studio near the Westside of Chicago. In the hushed studio, the staff, telephone prayer partners, anxious guests and Rev Carr watched as the first offical picture showed the first book of the Old Testament on the television set. This is the beginning of "God's Miracle" for Chicagoland.
