Mission statement

Loving Grace expresses its mission as follows:

"The ministry's express purpose is to disseminate the teachings of Jesus Christ throughout the world."

Statement of faith

Loving Grace Ministries subscribes to the following statement of faith:

We believe in One God (Isaiah 44:6) manifest in three, distinct personalities: that of Father (Psalm 68:5), Son (Hebrews 1:8), and Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4).

We believe in the historical virgin birth of Jesus Christ (Luke 1:34-35), His death upon the cross at Calvary where He paid for the sins of the world through His own blood, once for all (Hebrews 9:26, 10:12) and His physical resurrection from the dead (Luke 24:39) followed forty days later by His ascension into Heaven (Acts 1:37).

We believe "all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) and are therefore separate from God and in need of a Savior (Hebrews 9:22). Through one's personal acceptance of Jesus Christ, specifically His death, atonement, and resurrection; salvation from sin and fellowship with the indwelling Christ is established (Romans 10:9, Col. 1:27).

We believe in the personal:indwelling of the Holy Spirit which is granted to every believer at the moment of their new birth into the kingdom of God (John 3:3 & 6, Romans 8:15- 16). We believe in the necessity of continuously being filled with the Spirit of God through a conscious yielding to Him (Ephesians 5:18). We also believe in and accept the present day existence of all the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Ist Corinthians 12:4- 14, Hebrews 13:8- I 0).

We believe and accept the Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God, written by the Holy Spirit through the agency of man (2nd Tim 3:16, 2nd Peter 1:20-2 I).

We believe in the literal future second coming of Jesus Christ (Rev. 22:12- 13).

We believe in and accept as our responsibility the great commission to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation" (Mark 16:15).

We believe in "preserving the unity of the Spirit" in the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:3) through: accepting our brothers and sisters in Christ just as He accepted us (Romans 15:7), accepting differences within the Body of Christ, realizing God works His way in each of His children as He wills (Romans 14, Philippians 2:13) and through keeping "our eyes fixed upon Jesus" (Hebrews 12:2)", not allowing doctrinal disputes, quarrels, or speculations to separate us (2nd Timothy 2:23-24, Titus 3:9).

We believe in "presenting every person complete in Christ" (Colossians 1:28), that it is Christ Who personally lives His life through us (Galatians 2:20), that the "laws of God are fulfilled in us who believe" (Romans 3:4, 10:4), and that experiential victory in Christ is not achieved through our own efforts, but through realizing His finished work and subsequent power which works all things in us (2nd Corinthians 12:9-10, Colossians 1:27, Philippians 2:13, Ist Corinthians 15:10, Hebrews 13:21, Ephesians 2:8- I 0).

Response from ministry

Re: Loving Grace Ministries, Inc.

June 21, 2001

Gentlemen:

The readers of any general survey must be aware of the criteria employed, the data submitted, the population surveyed, and the measurement standards in order to properly evaluate the results. All ministries cannot be judged by the same criteria. Ministries vary substantially by type, size, objective, organizational structure, personnel, location, etc.

The source data used to evaluate the population is a product of judgement and subjective determination. Allocation of expenses to program, fundraising, or administrative categories is not an exact science. Also the criteria for allocation used and the methodologies employed are not necessarily consistently applied from ministry to ministry. Some ministries may not be properly allocating a portion of their costs to fundraising and administration. SFAS No. 117 requires all non profit organizations to provide information about expenses reported by their classification and joint costs must be allocated.

A few "five star" rated companies had "no" fundraising expenses and very limited amounts allocated to management expenses. The grading system seems to indicate that income from other than contributions is undesirable. The "other income" for Loving Grace consist of revenue from the sales of tapes, compact discs, books, Bibles and proceeds from retreats, all of which are for worship and spiritual growth. The Ministry does not attempt to make a substantial profit on these activities. These activities are all a component part of the ministry's objective to spread the gospel.

In addition, the reader should be aware that the rating system attempts to quantify efficiencies by making a comparison to a population average. The population varies in too many characteristics to draw an accurate conclusion.

Loving Grace has taken its stewardship seriously. Annual audits of financial statements by an independent certified public accounting firm are conducted. The Ministry is a member in good standing of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). Board members are committed to attendance at regular meetings and minutes are accurately maintained. Steps are taken on a regular basis to streamline costs where applicable but without jeopardizing the purpose of the Ministry. In fact, recently the Ministry employed some of its resources in state-of-the-art equipment to produce and distribute it's media products more efficiently. Also, the organizational structure was modified and employee responsibilities were better allocated resulting in more efficient and cost effective use of its human resources. The Ministry maintains a current position with its creditors and has no debt. The true test is that the Ministry is long lived and continues to grow by disseminating the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Very truly yours,

Richard Rausa & Associates, CPA, PA
