Mission statement
Derek Prince Ministries exists to develop disciples of Jesus Christ, through the Bible teaching of Derek Prince.
Statement of faith
God is the one true and living God existing eternally as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; and that He is a Spirit, infinite, eternal, unchangeable in His love, mercy, power, wisdom and righteousness. (Isaiah 45:22, Psalm 90:2; John 4:24; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God; that He became incarnate through His virgin birth; that He is perfect both in His deity and humanity; that He willingly gave His life as the perfect and all-sufficient substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of man; that through His atonement man can know freedom from the penalty, guilt and effects of sin; that He arose from the dead in His physical, glorified body with which He is now seated in Heaven, making intercession for believers; and that He is coming again in His glorified body to establish His kingdom. (Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:14; Colossians 1:13-18; 1 Peter 2:24; Luke 24; Hebrews 4:14; Matthew 25:31-46)
The Holy Spirit is equal in every attribute of deity with God the Father and with God the Son; performs the miracle of the new birth in those receiving Christ as Savior and is resident now in believers; seals them unto the day of redemption; empowers them for service; and grants gifts of grace (charismatic gifts) for the building up of the body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:30; 1 Corinthians 6:19; 12:4, 7, 12-13; Acts 1:5; Titus 3:5)
Truth is absolute and objective. Redemptive truth is set forth in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, which is God's written revelation to man, verbally inspired and inerrant in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
The Church is the united body of Christ on the earth which exists for fellowship, edification, and for communicating the gospel to all nations by means of Christian life and witness. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:6-8, 2:41-42; 1 Corinthians 12:13)
Man was created in the image of God, but through Adam's sin became alienated from God and is condemned to eternal punishment. The only remedy for man's condition is salvation by personal faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. (John 3:15-18; Ephesians 1:7; Romans 10:9-10)
Finite supernatural personal beings exist, including unfallen angels, fallen angels and demons. Satan, the leader of fallen angels, is the open and declared enemy of God and man, and is doomed to the Lake of Fire. (Hebrews 1:4-14; Jude 6; Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10)
There will be a bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved to eternal life, and they that are lost to eternal damnation. (1 Corinthians 15; Daniel 12:1-2; John 5:28-29; 2 Thessalonians 1:7; Matthew 5:1-10)

History
In May of 1971, Derek Prince officially began Derek Prince Publications in the garden house of his property in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At Derek's invitation, a year later in 1972, his son-in-law David Selby, the husband of his daughter, Anna (one of Derek and Lydia's nine adopted daughters) moved to Fort Lauderdale from Canada and began to help carry out the work. In the next few years, the ministry expanded, necessitating a number of moves of its location in the Fort Lauderdale area. In 1990, Derek Prince Publications officially became Derek Prince Ministries and in 1993, received its official 501(c)(3) charitable organization status. In 1994, the entire DPM-USA operation was moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2006, after 35 years of service, David Selby transitioned to International Director and Dick Leggatt was welcomed as the new President of DPM-USA.
There are approximately twenty-one full and part-time employees at Derek Prince Ministries - USA. The USA office is governed by a board of directors which meets three times a year. The board consists of Percy Burns, Jim Croft, Gerry Edwards, Haley Eichelberger, Sally Fesperman, Larry Gregory, Dick Leggatt, David Selby, and Lisa Watkins.
Internationally, the work of Derek Prince Ministries is overseen by a coalition of national directors who help to provide general direction and supervision to the work of DPM worldwide. These directors serve on the IC: Neil Cornick, International Operations Director and head of DPM-United Kingdom; Alex Genovese, DPM-Australia; Dick Leggatt, DPM-USA; Ross Paterson, DPM-China; and Warren Smith, DPM-South Pacific.
Once a year, a significant number of the directors of the various offices and outreaches around the world meet together at the annual Fellowship of National Offices. During that gathering, the directors share reports and testimonies, spend a significant time in prayer together concerning the goals and directions of DPM worldwide, and encourage one another and pray for one another and their families. Amazingly, even many years after Derek Prince's passing, the impact of his teaching legacy continues to grow and expand across the world.
Program accomplishments
Derek Prince Ministries continues to reach out to believers in over 140 countries with Derek's teachings, fulfilling the mandate to keep on "until Jesus returns". This is effected through the outreaches of more than 45 Derek Prince Offices around the world, including primary work in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
