Summary

Just as Jesus taught over 2,000 years ago, we believe the greatest answer to the world's greatest problem is more spiritual leaders. The college campuses of the world are the best place to find them.

In 2003, the ministry of StuMo existed on three campuses. Since then, God has expanded our influence to over 25 campuses across the United States.

More spiritual leaders in local churches helping to transform communities and cities with the gospel. More spiritual leaders raising families that take the Great Commission seriously. More spiritual leaders being salt and light in the darkest places of this world.

God has graciously used StuMo to provide more of the greatest solution to the greatest problem in our world.

Purpose

The students of today will be tomorrow's business men and women, church leaders, missionaries, educators, community leaders and parents. Our desire is to equip them to live for Christ wherever they may go.

Leadership: Through a number of avenues, we seek to help build leaders that will have a positive impact on their families, communities, country and the world.

Character: We are defined by our character. Our desire is to help shape and develop the character of students in a way that will help serve and help influence them the rest of their lives.

Faith: As an interdenominational ministry, our desire is to help students experience God in a genuine way and to grow in that relationship during this season of life and beyond.

Mission statement

To build spiritual leaders for Christ from the college campuses of the world.

Statement of faith

The Scriptures

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, and that the Old and New Testaments are divinely inspired, inerrant in the original writing, infallible, and the final authority for all Christian faith, life, and conduct for every age.

The Godhead

We believe in one God, the creator and sustainer of all things, who is infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Person and Work of Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, without any change in His eternal Deity, became man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men. We believe that Christ accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a perfect and complete sacrifice, and that our justification is confirmed by His shed blood and His literal physical resurrection from the dead. We believe that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God, where He intercedes as mediator on behalf of those He has redeemed. We believe in His imminent and personal return to the earth to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, whose ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. We believe that He applies the saving work of Christ to people at conversion, baptizing them into the Body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them until the Day of Redemption. We believe that the Holy Spirit guides believers in all truth, and that He fills and empowers the believer for Godly living and service.

The Condition of Man

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God as a rational, moral, and spiritual being, but that in Adam's sin, the entire race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. We believe that man is totally lost, and of himself completely unable to remedy his depraved condition.

Salvation

We believe that salvation, with its forgiveness of sins, its importation of a new nature, and its hope of eternal life, is entirely apart from good works, baptism or man's effort. We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to men by grace and is received through repentance and personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose atoning death and resurrection provide the only ground of justification and salvation. We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept in God's power and thus secure in Christ forever. We also believe that it is the privilege of believers to rejoice in the assurance of their salvation as stated in God's Word, but acknowledge that sin may interrupt the joy of the believer's fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of their Heavenly Father. We believe that once saved the believer begins the process of sanctification by the Holy Spirit, being conformed into the image of Jesus and thereby confirming the work of salvation.

The Church

We believe that the Church, which is the body and Bride of Christ, is composed of all persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy spirit. We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures.

Mission

We believe that it is the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling Spirit. Therefore we believe that it is the duty of all believers to witness by life and word to the truths of the Scriptures and to seek to proclaim the gospel, and in turn make disciples, in every tribe, tongue and nation.
