Beyond (previously Mission to Unreached Peoples & Act Beyond) focuses on Unreached People Group because 2000 years after Jesus, 27.9% of the world is still cut off from Gospel Access. This is 6000 Unreached (Ethno-linguistic) People Groups and nearly 2 billion people. Only 3 out of 100 missionaries go these unreached peoples while 90 out of 100 missionaries still go to Christianized people groups where there are plenty of churches, seminaries, literature, etc.

Church Planting Movement is the strategy Beyond uses because we believe God wants movements in more than just a few churches or Christian organizations. The results are incontrovertible. Over 100 Church Planting Movements are currently happening worldwide. Such strategy provides the best return on the investment of personnel, time, prayer and financial resources. Dollar for dollar, and hour for hour, the harvest coming from work among Unreached Peoples outstrips that from the rest of the world 100 to 1.

Beyond focuses on the Unreached People Groups considered most challenging to reach. We work to initiate Church Planting Movements among them and resource Strategy Coordination Teams to work smarter, not harder. The Teams seek God's Vision and plan for a people group. They follow God continually in fulfilling His Plan. They become disciples worth reproducing and start reproducing disciples groups.

Church Planting Movements are implemented by:

  • Asking God for His end vision for a particular Unreached People Group.
  • Carefully following the strategic methods modeled by Jesus, Paul and the New Testament Church which multiplied exponentially.
  • Discipling whole households to obey all that Jesus commanded.
  • Teaching these groups to start other groups that start other groups and so on.
  • Equipping these groups to feed the poor, help the sick, share the Gospel and change their society from within.
  • Collaborating globally to stimulate and resource thousands more Church Planting Teams.

Beyond's purpose is to join God at work among the almost two billion people (27.9% of the world) who are still cut off from access to the Gospel two thousand years after Christ through biblically-based Church Planting Movements directed by Jesus in Luke 10 and Paul throughout the book of Acts. We seek to equip others to do the same since less than 10% of the modern missionary workforce is focused on these least-evangelized peoples of the world.

This organization is a nonprofit. Contributions to it are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. It is a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

Mission statement

We start church planting movements to transform unreached people groups--where obedient disciples make obedient disciples and reproducing churches start reproducing churches--who make Jesus known while transforming lives, relationships and communities.

Statement of faith

Beyond's Statement of Faith is:

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is authoritative and infallible in the original writings.

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and regeneration by the Holy Spirit are essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life eternal.

We believe in the spiritual unity of the Church, which is the Body of Christ, composed of all who are regenerated through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
