We previously failed the company based on an article published in Bloomberg. A spokesperson was emailed in order to confirm that the company still covers travel expenses for its employees who travel outside their home states to obtain abortions. We did not receive a reply denying this policy was still in place. Since we have no reason to believe that company policy has changed, we are assuming that this information is still correct.

Since its inception in 2013, the Dirty Dozen List has galvanized thousands of individuals like YOU to call on corporations, government agencies, and organizations to change problematic policies and practices. This campaign has yielded major victories at Google, Netflix, TikTok, Hilton Worldwide, Verizon, Walmart, US Department of Defense, and many more." NCOSE's information on Apple App Store reads," Deceptive to the core: Apple App Store age ratings and descriptions mislead parents about the content, risks, and dangers to children on available apps. When caregivers aren't informed, kids pay the price. Appeal to Apple to #fixappratings."

Apple's iTunes software is linked to Apple's online iTunes music store. One can purchase music and download podcasts, applications, etc. Many apps, books, audiobooks and podcasts with sexually explicit content are offered and many times for free. And one doesn't have to download anything to be confronted with sexually explicit images on itunes. A lot of the cover art/icons for these apps, books, audiobooks and podcasts are graphic. The company's own 17+ rating states that "sexual content and nudity" can be found in certain apps, etc. BRI Institute was easily able to find photography and graphic illustrations of nudity and sexual content on itunes.com.
